Peake's Wharf
The Charlottetown Area Development Corporation (CADC) completed a major development project on the Charlottetown waterfront in 1989. Peake’s Wharf lies at the foot of Great George Street, Canada’s most historic street. This project included a 150 slip, full service marina, seasonal retail shops, and a restaurant and bar. It is the site of numerous seasonal activities for the public including outdoor concerts and is adjacent to Confederation Landing Park, the site of the City’s main seasonal festivals and events.
A main feature of Peake’s Wharf is the waterfront public pedestrian boardwalk, adjacent to the harbor, that interconnects with one of Charlottetown’s most well used and important infrastructure elements, the waterfront boardwalk/walkway system.
